Joye Schwartz & her interests

Hello, My name is Joye and I am an artist at heart. I feel compelled to create a painting, sweater, good food, music, or whatever everyday. I am a mother of 4, with beautiful grandchildren!

I absolutely LOVE to paint portraits, design sweaters, play violin, cook vegetarian, paint oils, watercolors, design jewelry, and whatever comes into my head. In other words, I LOVE to CREATE!! That is what I write about!!

Basically, I am an organized person and like to write my posts in a schedule, so here it is:
Schedule
Sunday: “Musings on Creativity”, I may write about color, new music, a book I have read, just my thoughts.
Monday: “Food is Good”, every Monday I post a vegetarian recipe I have created. Yum!!
Tuesday: “A Day in the Life” Tuesday is the day I post about what I have been working on in my studio or wherever my creative urges take me!
Wednesday: “Creative Tip” Wednesday is the day for my creative tip of the week to help motivate you to become more creative in your own life!
Thursday: “Inspiration Thursday” Thursday I speak about what inspires me, whether it is people, places, things, colors, photos, who knows?
Friday: “Joyeful One of a Kind” Ohh, I love Fridays!! This is the day I write about a special find I have discovered that week. It could be a potter, writer, musician, fashion, shop, anything that strikes my fancy, check it out every Friday and find out !

Playing the violin has been part of my life since I was 8, as was knitting. I have studied painting since 1987 with various teachers as well as at The Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, Pa.  And as far as my cooking interest, well I like to eat, and feel a vegetarian lifestyle is important to my overall health.

I happen to be an enthusiastic, optimistic person who likes to make things and wants to meet other like minded people!
