A Day in the Life, Ocean Series, Seagull

I have an upcoming art reception this week in Ventnor, New Jersey so I am trying to fill in my Ocean Series paintings. Today I completed a colorful Seagull watercolor from a photo from my friend, Ken. Here is the photo:

I envisioned a lot more color:
It is interesting this world of color and paint us artists live in, almost a fantasy world, we make the world just a bit more colorful and bright. I guess that is just how I see the environment around me.
