A Day in the Life: It’s Yellow Day!!

Today is a beautiful sunny day in Philadelphia( you know it is always sunny in Philadelphia . For some reason, everywhere I looked, I seemed to see yellow, or variations there of. My yellow fall daisies in my garden, lemons, pears, mums,

bananas, golden apples,

leaves!

It is just astounding! I am teaching my watercolor class tonight and, yes, I am going to focus on yellow. We will learn from Gauguin

and Van Gogh


We will discuss how to paint this difficult, yet sunny warm color. It is going to be fun!!
