Inspiration Thursday: Blue, Give Me Anything Blue

I have written about this before, but I love blue. I adore blue! Give me anything blue, and I feel a calming, organic, beautiful all is ok feeling. Maybe it is because the ever present sky is blue, or maybe because the ocean is blue, but there is something intrinsically earthy and lovely about this color.

Life itself is surrounded by blue.

I can’t seem to get away from this soothing color in any of my paintings.

It seems to give the final zing to any work. But the things I most love always seem to have some connection to this adored hue.
