Inspiration Thursday: Skies

Ooooh, it has been a busy but awesome day today. I got my pre ordered iPhone 4. Waited for only an hour, in the heat, and then picked it up, activated it and am having so much fun!
When living a life filled with creativity, almost anything can stimulate you to be creative, like my new toy! Driving in New Jersey around sunset, my husband and I noticed the gorgeous sunset over the bay. We stopped and I snapped a picture of the gorgeous clouds and sun rapidly setting with my new phone. Here it is:

Can you believe the colors?? I uploaded the photo onto my computer in my folder of photos I want to paint from. Who knows what I will do with the picture? Maybe I will paint from it, but maybe I will construct a collage, use the color patterns to knit a new sweater, write about it in my journal, play a melody on my violin in response to its beauty, never can tell. But I have that jewel of a beauty memory saved so I can look at it whenever I want. Oh, and did I mention I love skies??
