List Fun: Things That are Beyond my Comprehension
Is it possible to one day comprehend everything in this world? Many scientists think the answer is yes. Perhaps, but having more to learn and comprehend is part of life’s challenge. I think a bit of mystery is a good thing, makes us as humans keep searching. So, this list question for the week requires a lot of thought. I mean, there must be numerous “things” that I don’t comprehend and am not even aware of yet, and how do I know if I really comprehend something fully? With these disclaimers in mind, I am going to come up with a short list of things in this big human world of ours that I really know I don’t comprehend. I must warn you, I like science, a lot.
1. The vastness of our universe
2. Time
3. Entanglement Theory
4. Black Holes
5. People training other people to kill in the name of religion
6. People who abuse children.
7. String Theory
8. Uniqueness of snowflakes
9. A human egg and sperm becomes a person full of life
10. Beethoven composing his 9th Symphony while deaf.
I have many more, but, hey, I am a curious person!

Hi I'm Joye!!

I guess I’m not the only one who has issues understanding space! Good to know!
Wow, what an amazing list. Seriously, all of these items are on my list as well. I love your take on it, and I love the images! Snowflakes- such a mystery, wonder, and beauty.
Ok, I’m totally amused that we are almost all putting physics right up there. Maybe we need to start a physics/space learning project! Do you get the micro physics stuff like quarks? Thanks for blogging about this and getting me hooked. I’m having fun with this. Of course it is cutting into my book time… HMMMM.
Love Number 9!
Do I get the micro physics quark stuff, ahh no, but I try! I keep reading about physics, I find it fascinating and shows how utterly complex our world really is!
Einstein said, “The wider the diameter of light, the larger the circumference of darkness.” I’ve always loved that quote because the more you know (light) the more things you have to question. So cool.
