Things to do on a Rainy Day

Ok, so it isn’t one of those days where you are sitting on the dock near your favorite bay gazing at the sunset enjoying a warm breeze sipping a tropical drink. It is raining, cold and the chill bites you when you go out the door. But for some reason I have always liked rainy days, ever since I was a little girl.
There is something so comforting about rain. It means you need to stay inside where it is warm and inviting. Rain draws you inside with your loved ones or by yourself where you can cozy up to a good book. What else? Well you can knit, sketch, watch an old movie, make a complicated recipe you have been meaning to try, get a cuppa tea, make hot chocolate. It basically makes you slow down and enjoy. You can always just look out the window and see how amazing rain can look. I realize that when you go to work and have to fight the elements, it isn’t so enjoyable, but think about what you have to look forward to when you finally reach home!
