Week Word: Augoeides

What I love about participating in the Week Word challenge is learning about new words, new to me. John chose this week’s word, you can find other blogger’s takes on this word at: John’s Blog.
So…Augoeides is this week’s word. It must be quite unusual John, because my online dictionary doesn’t even list it. But according to John’s definition, it means luminous body.
Art loves to showcase luminous bodies.
Renoir:

Renoir Bather

Berthe Morisot:

Berthe Morisot

One of my watercolors of a model:

Nude in Red Chair

Well of course, perhaps this isn’t what the word was specifically referring to when it said luminous bodies, but they are nice to admire, don’t you think?

Sorry Joye, I didn´t know you were “in” however I will put you in tomorrows post.  I have no one for next week, are you up for it?

Love the paintings and your watercolor is fantastic.
