A day in the life and the color purple

I love purple. There it is, the color of royalty, grapes, irises, pansies, rich velvet. To me it is a seriously happy color, but temperamental. It needs to be used in the right spot, purple deserves to used elegantly. I love to paint with it and wear it! It is a color that exudes youth and luxury.

Yesterday I finished knitting my cashmere and silk cardigan with silver buttons. Buttons that I had found years ago made by hand and was saving them for just the right sweater. I love this sweater. It has the softness and luxury of cashmere and the luxury of purple.

I do have a thing about purple, just noticed my glasses are even purple!
