Joyeful One of a Kind Music Find of Hope

Playing and listening to music all my life, I have always felt music is an uplifting universal language. I have had the experience of playing my violin in chamber music groups with people I had never met before, older people, younger people, people from different countries. But when we picked up our instruments, it was like we were transformed by the language of music. We played and spoke to each other, and the other musicians responded with beautiful notes that we all understood. Anyone who has sung, strummed, bowed, beat, or plucked know what I am talking about.
So, when I saw the spot on CNN on The African Children’s Choir, I thought “What a wonderful, giving idea this is!!” These children living in poverty in Uganda loved to sing, and have spread their emotions to the world through their astounding choir.
