Much rather be playing my violin

I had to work on my taxes today. A gray Sunday doing taxes, oh man. But what I really wanted to do was fit in some time for my violin!!
Here are my reasons why I want to spend more time playing my violin:
1) It magically transports me to another place
2) Playing Mozart and Beethoven feels so inspiring, how could they write such complicated pieces? One was young when he started and one became deaf!!
3) I like figuring out complicated works, makes me feel so accomplished.
4) I want to jam again with my son and his band. That was an amazing experience, like painting abstract pantings after realism. I felt like my notes were my palette.
5) Playing violin is such gratifying work and so soothing.
6) It is truly a beautiful instrument.

Taxes are finished, violin here I come!!
