A Day in the Life, Nautical

I am working on paintings for my ocean series now, seeing as I am going to be in an exhibition in Ventnor, New Jersey, the shore as we call it in Philly. I completed another nautical scene yesterday from a photo from my friend Ken.

This was an image he took of Baltimore, Maryland’s harbor. It is very high key, in other words, has mainly light pastel colors in it. I decided to make it more colorful, as usual!!

I think adding more color makes it more magical, almost fantasy like. What do you think?
