A Day in the Life, Progress

I finished a painting I had been working on last week, remember the lilacs, azaleas and tulip arrangement from my video? I had to work fast and I was painting on watercolor canvas, which I have really grown to love. Here it is:

Lilacs, Azaleas, and a Tulip

Spring is a joyous, hopeful time and I feel this painting expressed that.
I have also been working on the watercolor from the photo collaboration. This painting is done in a deliberate manner and will take many, many hours to finish. Going from a free style back to deliberate is a way I personally like to work. Here is my progress on that painting:

Progress

I am quite pleased with its progress, slow and steady, lots of patience.
I have also decided that I am going to start some small seascapes in oils and watercolor. Feels like the ocean is there with me now, got to get that feeling down with paint!
