Inspiration Thursday, Irises

Taking a walk today, I noticed big, majestic irises and remembered how much I really adore these flowers. They seem so regal, standing tall and showing off their blooms in all their glory. I am not sure how many colors they come in or how many varieties, but I have never seen irises that I don’t like. There is only a window of time they are in bloom, usually May here in the mid Atlantic and I guess it adds to the splendor of May. Actually, many of them are withering away, so better savor them while I can.
