Lots of Excitement Going On

As my friend Edna says at the end of every email she sends, “Today is a good day!” I had a wonderful day today enjoying our beach and visiting with friends.

Looks pretty magical, huh? I have to confess that I manipulated this photo in one of my new iPhone apps(tee hee!)
Lots of exciting things are happening here at Joyefulart! First of all, I am participating in a Giveaway at Gussi Sews. Starting tomorrow, Maggie is having a huge Giveaway where she is giving something away every hour. I also have started a Featured Artwork of the Month, which you can see at the right side bar. Every month I will have a sale of a special giclee print or original just for that month. This month it is one of my favorites:

This is a special painting to me. I did this watercolor of our Margate Beach in April when we were alone on the beach and it was oh so tranquil. The original has been sold, but 2 print sizes are available and both are on sale, check it out! Gallery Shop.
I am also teaching a fun and playful Wet into Wet Watercolor Class at the Ventnor Cultural Arts Center in Ventnor, New Jersey, call 609-823-7952 if interested in registering.
Lots of new events and artwork will be coming to Joyefulart, so stay tuned. Just a hint, an upcoming Wellness and Creativity Retreat will be given in the Philadelphia area in the fall by myself and my good friend Rebecca who is an expert on culinary arts and anything exercise related.
