Musings
I feel strongly that incorporating creative activities into your weekly routine(or daily if you can handle it!) contributes to one’s sense of well being. Remember playing when you were little? Painting, coloring, listening to music, making cookies, in general creative activities were considered fun, they were part of play. Playing is fun and serious work for a child. But that sense of fun, carefree play, and enjoyment of the creative process can be felt as an adult.
“All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” Pablo Picasso. It is a challenge, but making myself paint or play my violin always makes me feel better for the rest of the day.
I am fascinated by this creative process and how it can be so nourishing. I hope to meet other creative people & inspire others to try creative activities just for the fun of it.

Hi I'm Joye!!

I’m trying to incorporate the creative into my life on a daily basis… it’s difficult to find the time never mind the inspiration! These watercolours are vivacious! Lovely;)
Thanks Janine! I know it is difficult to find the time, I have the same problem. But it is so worth it when we do!! Many times I just schedule time for my studio and just make myself work, after awhile ideas do start to flow.
Include me! Besides I make it a point to collect friends who are #1 – named JOYE, #2 paint and #3 like cats. Have a great Day! see you again soon. Included you on my blogroll
Thanks so much Amy!! I know painters who like cats, good people, right?!! Anyway, welcome, come often, and your site is also on my roll!
