So sorry I haven’t posted in awhile! I have been overwhelmed with closing my brick and mortar boutique and on baby watch! New babies have and are soon to come to our family! I will be back blogging regularly earl in 2012.

She Lights Up Our Life, oil
Yesterday was Mother’s Day and I had such a lovely day! The weather was perfect, sunny, in the high 60′s, and flowers were abloom! I worked for a short time in my boutique, then went into my studio and worked on my large new colorful landscape and gabbed with my mom and mother in law on the phone. I then had a scrumptious dinner prepared by my son on our deck. My 3 sons, my husband and I had dinner, which was after a video chat with my daughter and grandchildren. We finished the day watching a Phillies game. They lost, but who cares? I had such a nice day with family and art, what could be better?

Inspiration Thursday: Playing
so much fun!
Just getting back from visiting family for Passover, I was thinking about how much fun it is to play with my grandchildren. And, how important it is for children to have the experience of playing. Laughing, letting go and just being imaginative in play is the best it seems to me.
