Having so much fun, and need some good comfort food!!

I think it is pretty obvious that I am a newbie to blogging. Have been reading blogs for awhile and decided to take the plunge. Have to say, I am having a blast meeting so many wonderful, warm, friendly like minded creative people!!! Blogging is actually motivating me to work harder on my artwork. I love getting up in the morning and opening the computer to read about my new found friend’s adventures and get some comments on mine!! Thanks to all who have started reading about my musings on living a creative life, it really gives me such a boost to know people are reading and enjoying my posts!!

Warm inside!

It was definitely a cold winter morning here again….. I love to cook vegetarian food, so I made my favorite winter soup, Potato Corn Chowder. Always a hit, my family loves it.

Potato Corn Chowder

Here’s the recipe for anyone to try:

Sautee in 2 Tbs. oil, cut up onion, zucchini, garlic, yellow squash, cauliflower, & potatoes(about 3). Add water to cover with salt, pepper, and marjoram. Cook until veggies are soft, puree with wand or processor. Add 1 can sweet corn and 1 can creamed corn, heat & serve. Great with homemade bread on a cold evening!!
